A scan lets you see the work in a way the original itself can’t offer. Zoom in, and you can come up close to the grain of the charcoal and the fibers of the paper. Pull back, and the quiet space around the figure sits in the palm of your hand. The photos I post on social media are taken with a DSLR, but a scan brings you a step closer.
Those of you who support this place are the reason I can keep making work, and keep this going. I want to return that, in my own small way, one image at a time.
