I really liked the idea of deliberately going somewhere that has nothing to do with us. Weโre so used to having everything tailored to our interests and getting answers immediately that we can forget how valuable it is to simply wander, explore and experience something without a purpose. The thought that some of the most meaningful moments happen before we can even put them into words really stayed with me.
As much as I love your art you also have an incredible way with words. What you write about your process or just going into a bookshop or a movie is really impactful. I really enjoy reading your posts
I know exactly what you mean. Sometimes the moments that stay with us most are the ones we canโt really explain at all. A walk, a film, wandering into a bookshop for no reason. Perhaps weโve become so used to everything being quick and tailored to us that we forget how good it is just to stumble across something unexpected. ๐น
